- Mount Parallels Tools installation image to the virtual machine. Click on CD/DVD icon on the virtual machine's window (or use 'Devices' menu on macOS menu bar) > select 'prl-tools-mac.ico' or click 'Connect Image...' > navigate to this directory on your Mac: /Applications/Parallels Desktop.app/Contents/Resources/Tools/prl-tools-mac.iso.
- In the virtual machine, try to open the attached Parallels Tools image and select 'Uninstall Parallels Tools' > follow the process to complete uninstallation.
