Publishing a .JAR file as a RemoteApp in Parallels Secure Workspace

Resolution

  1. On the RDS host, publish PowerShell as a Remote Application in the Windows Server Manager.
  2. In the properties of the RemoteApp: navigate to the Parameters tab.
  3. Select Always use the following command-line parameters and enter the following parameter:
    Invoke-Item "\\path\to\your\file.jar"
  4. Test the instruction in PowerShell on the RDS host to see if the default application on the server for opening .JAR files is already Java.
  5. Publish this as a Remote Application in Parallels Secure Workspace.
