Upgrades are possible for Parallels Desktop 6 and above. To upgrade your Parallels Desktop to Parallels Desktop 8 please proceed to Instructions listed below.Instructions
1. Parallels Desktop 8 is distributed either on DVD media or as .dmg image available to download. You may download Parallels Desktop 8 installation file from our site: www.parallels.com/download/desktop2. Double click the downloaded Parallels Desktop 8 installation file with .dmg extension and and it will be mounted to Finder then double-click the Install icon.
If you have the Parallels Desktop 8 DVD just put it in the CD/DVD drive of your Mac and double-click the Install icon:
3. Enter your Account password and the installation will start.
4. If you are upgrading to Parallels Desktop 8 from a previos Parallels Desktop version you will see this dialogue. Click Remove to remove your current version of Parallels Desktop and install Parallels Desktop 8.
