Unable to type in a remote desktop session on Parallels Secure Workspace when accessing the Workspace through another web client

Symptoms

This article only applies to the following situation:

1. The end user first navigates to another RDP Web Client (such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Web Client or Parallels RAS Web client).
2. In this other RDP Web Client, the user connects to a remote desktop session host and launches a browser.
3. In this remote browser, the user navigates to Parallels Secure Workspace.
4. In Parallels Secure Workspace, they start an application session.
5. They try to type in this application session (on Parallels Secure Workspace), but no input is processed.

Cause

A mismatch in the configuration.

Resolution

For Microsoft RD Web Client: In the settings of the Microsoft RD Web Client, explicitly set "Select Remote keyboard layout" to Remote - Use the remote machine's keyboard settings (not Auto).

For Parallels RAS: In the settings of the web client: Set the keyboard mode to PC Keyboard (not Universal keyboard).
