Symptoms
All applications start in the same RDP session.
Cause
Incorrect Group Policy (GPO) settings.
Resolution
In order to enforce that each app can start in separate RDP sessions, enforce the following GPO on the RDS servers:
Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Session Host / Connections: Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop Services sessions: Disable.
