Symptoms

Macs aren't discovered during Network Discovery.

pma_discovery.log has records similar to these:
11-18 09:20:01.706 D /DiscoveryUtils:13220:3084/ Process 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Nmap/nmap.exe' started
11-18 09:20:01.792 D /DiscoveryUtils:13220:3084/ Closed stdin for process 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Nmap/nmap.exe'
11-18 10:20:00.962 D /DiscoveryUtils:13220:3084/ Duration timeout expired after 3599 second(s)

Cause

Network Discovery failed to complete in the specified time.

Resolution

Please configure Network Discovery to use a more aggressive Nmap timing policy (like T4) and/or increase the scheduled duration of the discovery:
