Maintenance windows are not respected when deploying Updates (patches)
Resolution
In SCCM Console navigate to Assets and Compliance > Overview > Device Collections > right-click required collection > Properties > Maintenance Windows > select/create one.
Change the value of Apply the schedule to to Software updates:
Correlation between types of maintenance windows and what is deployed:
- Software distribution = All deployments
- Required application = All deployments
- Software updates = Software updates
