Resolution
Assuming a default domain in System Settings > Global > Domains:
- When the user surfs to Awingu using a FQDN (host header) which is not configured in Awingu for any of the domains or by using IP address of the appliance; the login screen will show fields to enter the username, password and (optionally) the Awingu domain to log on to. The branding of the default domain will be applied on the login page.
- When users don't specify a domain, they will authenticate against the default Awingu domain. The branding for the default domain will be applied.
- When users do specify a domain, they will authenticate against the specified Awingu domain. The branding for the specific domain will be applied.
- However, when the user surfs to Awingu using a FQDN (host header) which is configured in Awingu, the "domain" field will not be visible anymore on the login screen as its derived from the URL used to access Awingu. The specific domain branding will be applied on the login page and after signing in.
It is also highly recommended to configure specific host headers, most certainly for non-default Awingu domains.
