Symptoms

When a file is uploaded in Awingu's "Files" tab, in the Windows back-end the owner is marked as "DOMAIN\Administrators" (not Domain Administrators).

Cause

Whenever a user who is a member of the Domain Admins group creates a file/folder, the owner for the file/folder will be domain Admins. Now, as Domain Admins is a part of BUILTIN\Administrators, it will be mapped to this group.

Resolution

This is expected behavior in Microsoft Windows.
