Parallels Desktop and Mac with Apple M2 chips compatibility

As our customers know, Parallels cares deeply about the quality of our software products and the experience they provide. We provide full support for Mac computers with Apple M2 chips, including M2 Pro and M2 Max chips.

Known limitations

Parallels Desktop 18 supports assigning up to 62GB of RAM and 18 CPUs to a virtual machine on Mac computers with Apple M-series chips.

Parallels Desktop 17 supports assigning up to 32GB of RAM and 8 CPUs to a virtual machine on Mac computers with Apple M-series chips.
