If you are using a web proxy server in your organization, you need to specify its settings, so that Parallels OS X Software Update Point can access the Internet:

  1. Log into the computer where you have Parallels OS X Software Update Point installed.

  2. Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and navigate to the following key:

Note: In PMM v7 registry path is changes as following:

    64-bit OS:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Parallels\Parallels Mac Management for Microsoft SCCM\Sup

    32-bit OS:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Parallels\Parallels Mac Management for Microsoft SCCM\Sup

Note: By default, the Parameters subkey doesn't contain any values. To modify the Parallels OS X Software Update Point options, you need to add the values as described below.

  3. Add the following values to the Parameters subkey:

    • NetProxyPort — DWORD. Proxy server port number.
    • NetProxyUserName — String. User name to connect to the proxy server (if required).
    • NetProxyUserPassword — String. User password (if required).
