Symptoms

While trying to update Master Publishing Agent on the secondary site the following popup occurs:

Cause

Switching to secondary site actually logs you in to the master Publishing Agent of this site, this is by design.

Resolution

Switch back to the primary site > Farm > highlight required site > Check Agent > Update.
