Fix "Parallels Desktop cannot be started" error

Symptoms

While starting Parallels Desktop for Mac, an error message appears:

Resolution

1. Restart the Mac.

2. Reinstall Parallels Desktop for Mac. Here are the download links for the latest product versions:

   • Parallels Desktop 20 for Mac
   • Parallels Desktop 19 for Mac
   • Parallels Desktop 18 for Mac

Note: if reinstalling Parallels Desktop didn't help, ensure no anti-virus software is running during Parallels Desktop installation. If the issue persists, contact our Support.
