Remote Application Server Console authentication

6 users found this article helpful

Information

Upon installation of the Parallels Remote Application Server (version 11 and up), a user has a logon screen, which authenticates the user and allows access to the Console and its configuration.

Any user with full local admin privileges has access to the Console.

The first user that logs in, has full admin privileges in the Console. If other administrators need to log in, the first logged in administrator should configure this in the Administration pane > Administration tab of the Console.

The recommended logon format in Windows Active Directory environments is the UPN format (i.e., username@domain.com).

For example, if a local user is used, the recommended logon format would be .\Administrator.
