Symptoms

I am unable to launch NinjaTrader program in my Windows virtual machine. The program crashes on startup:

Resolution

Please delete an update for Windows (KB2836988) which was installed in your Windows virtual machine, as described in this thread: Ninjatrader application stopped working

Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features -> on the right pane choose 'View installed updates'

Locate Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2836988) - right-click and uninstall -> reboot and launch NinjaTrader.
