How to assign an RD Session Host or Gateway to a particular Publishing Agent

In order to manually assign an RD Session Host or Gateway to a particular Publishing Agent, follow these steps:

RD Session Host

  1. Open Remote Application Server Console.
  2. Go to Farm > RD Session Hosts > right-click on the required server > Properties > Agent Settings tab.
  3. Uncheck Inherit default settings.
  4. Select a required Publishing Agent from the Preferred Publishing Agent dropdown menu.

Gateway

  1. Open Remote Application Server Console.
  2. Go to Farm > Gateways > right-click on the required server > Properties > Properties tab.
  3. Select a required Publishing Agent from the Preferred Publishing Agent dropdown menu.
