Parallels Desktop for Mac compatibility with macOS 13 Ventura

Parallels Engineering team is testing Parallels Desktop for Mac and other products with macOS 13 Ventura Beta to ensure full support of macOS 13 Ventura as soon as it is released.

Below is the list of known issues we are working on with the available workarounds that we have tested in our lab.

macOS Ventura 13 as a host operating system

 1 

 Moving Windows apps between stages breaks cursor positioning (Coherence mode with Stage Manager).

 Fixed in Parallels Desktop 18.

 2  Creating a shortcut on the shared Desktop crashes Windows.

 Fixed in Parallels Desktop 18

 3  Boot Camp virtual machine doesn't work.  Fixed in Parallels Desktop 18.  
 4  Moving a Windows app window in Stage Manager brings underlying window to front (Coherence mode).  Fixed in Parallels Desktop 18
 5  Context menu doesn't work in MS Office apps  No workaround yet.
 6   Windows start menu doesn't work in Coherence view mode with Stage Manager on.  No workaround yet.

 Unable to enable/disable SIP inside a macOS Ventura 13 VM on Mac computers with M-series machines
