Task sequence fails after "Apply OS X image" step on several Mac clients

Symptoms

• All Task Sequence steps are failing after Apply OS X image step on random Macs, but not all are affected (generally Mac's with Thunderbolt and USB Ethernet adapters).

• After post "Apply OS X image" step reboot - there is no network on Mac.

• Following entries can be found in /Library/Logs/pmm_launchd_helper.log:

  network_waiter: Parallels Mac Management v*.*.*.** - Network Waiter (Mon Feb 13 15:58:48 CET 2017)
  ...
  network_waiter:Error: Network not configured (Default route not found)
  ...
  network_waiter:Error: Network not configured (Non-loopback interfaces not found)
  ...
  network_waiter:Error: Network not configured (DNS settings not found)
  

Cause

Network interface misconfiguration after image is applied.

Resolution

Download attached script and create Execute Script step in Task Sequence right after Apply OS Image step. The script will reset network settings to defaults, and Task Sequence will continue properly.
