Our Engineering Team has found the issue when Windows Insider Preview (Canary) latest build 26002-26020 can't be installed in a Windows 11 virtual machine running on Parallels Desktop.

After installing the latest build, you are prompted to restart Windows to complete the update but then you are presented with the "0xc1900101" error code.

Resolution

The issue has been addressed by Microsoft in build 26040.1000.
