In order to be able to see and launch Azure Virtual Desktop published resources, a machine should meet following requirements:
- OS: Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, and Windows 7 SP1 are supported. Note, Server OSs or not Windows OSs are not supported, as well as Windows 8 and Windows 8.1.
- Windows updates: Update for Universal C Runtime for Windows (KB2999226). Should be already installed on the latest Windows 10 machines.
- Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6.0. Should be already installed on the latest Windows 10 machines.
- Windows Desktop Client should be installed. You may use the following link to install it: Windows Desktop Client x64, Windows Desktop Client x86.
If it is not installed, Parallels Client will automatically download Windows Desktop Client when a user first time accesses Windows Virtual Desktop published resource.
Note: Azure Virtual Desktop resources are only available for Parallels Client for Windows and for HTML5 Client on Windows machines. Accessing Azure Virtual Desktop resources from other non-windows OS is not supported. Published Azure Virtual Desktop resources won't be enumerated.
