This release introduces a new tier of Parallels Desktop for Mac, the Enterprise Edition. This edition is designed specifically for organizations with large-scale deployments of virtual machines that require more control, visibility, and efficiency in managing their environments.
Compared to the Business Edition, Parallels Desktop for Mac Enterprise Edition brings changes to how system administrators manage licenses, provision virtual machine images, manage licenses, and their deployed environments.
Parallels Management Portal
The main new feature of Parallels Desktop for Mac Enterprise Edition is the Management Portal. With it, you can:
- Provision prepared virtual machine images for both Apple silicon and Intel Macs;
- Set and dynamically change policies to groups of users, locking down their ability to install their own virtual machines or remove the corporate ones;
- Monitor all virtual machines in your setup by various parameters, enabling you to detect un-updated or abandoned machines.
- Delete virtual machines remotely in a couple of clicks.
