Symptoms

A published application has possibility to open hyperlinks in web browser. As expected, it opens web browser from the RDS host.

Is there a way to run the local browser (installed on the client computer) instead of the server one?

Resolution

• In Remote Application Server Console:

  1. Go to RDSH properties: Farm > RD Session hosts > right-click on RDS host > Properties > switch to Agent Settings tab.

  2. Enable "Allow Client URL/Mail Redirection" and hit OK and Apply.

  

• In Parallels Client:

  Go to Connection properties > Advanced settings > Check "Redirect URLs to this computer":

  

• In HTML5 Gateway:
  Click on the human icon in the right upper corner > Settings:
