Symptoms

Application is not being installed on the target Mac after deployment

Cause

Incorrect configuration of maintenance windows. The nearest window starts in the future.

Log

Switch logging level to TRACE level:

  1. Download attached pma_agent.log.zip and unpack it in the following directory on the Mac side

    /Library/Logs/ (in the same directory where pma_agent.log is located).
  2. Reboot Mac.
  3. Create a new Application which is not installed on Mac.
  4. Deploy it as a required application to replicate the issue.

  5. Check /Library/Logs/pma_agent.log

    Following record will be found:

    11-08 09:45:59.837 T [AppAssignmentsDispatcher] /AppManagerAgent:79:307/ Required application '{E9078CDB-A414-424E-B811-C6D60AF2E90A}/1.00' will be installed in the nearest maintenance window which starts @ 2032-06-14T01:00:00

Reconfigure SCCM Maintenance windows
