If you experience the following problem:Macintosh freezes from time to time when Parallels Desktop virtual machine is running with no apparent reason and the warning "Conection failed. The server may not exist or ot is not operational at this time. Check the server name or IP address and your network connection and try again" is displayed:
please, remove all aliases to remote servers from your Macintosh Desktop.
