By default, IE caches all pages, regardless of whether the pages are secure (e.g., HTTPS pages, which use SSL).

If we don't want IE to cache these secure pages, have to modify the dword of the string "DisableCachingOfSSLPages" so that the Update client will work

On your local machine where the Parallels client is installed, close and exit the Parallels client, open the registry and change the value data of DisableCachingOfSSLPages to "0"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings] "DisableCachingOfSSLPages"=dword:00000000

Warning: Backup registry settings before you follow the above settings. Make these changes at your own risk. Additionally, use the registry editor with extreme caution. If you make an error while editing the Windows registry settings, you can create issues that can only be solved by reinstalling the operating system.
