Note: Starting with Parallels Desktop 17.1.0, a virtual TPM chip is added automatically to new Windows 11 virtual machines.


1. To install a new Windows 11 virtual machine you need to download an official installation image first

Fix 'This PC can't run Windows 11' error

This error message might occur when you try creating a new Windows 11 virtual machine in Parallels Desktop version older than Parallels Desktop 17.1.0.

      

Starting with Parallels Desktop 17.1.0, a virtual TPM chip is added automatically to new Windows 11 virtual machines. So, if you have encountered such an issue, please update Parallels Desktop to the latest build (click Parallels Deskttop icon on the Mac menubar || > Check for updates).
