Symptoms

You get the error [02/00000003] The Client could not access the remote application when launching apps in Gateway SSL mode:

However, in other connection modes (if it's possible to use them in the environment) apps are launched just fine.

Cause

Parallels Client failed to find an appropriate UDP port on the Gateway and couldn't start RDP-UDP tunnel.

Resolution

The issue has been resolved In Parallels Client 17.1.1, please upgrade your client to this version. It can be downloaded here.

If the upgrade isn't possible, as a workaround, you may use other connection modes (like Gateway mode) or disable RDP-UDP tunneling in Connection properties:
