- Mac computer with OS X 10.9 (or higher);
- Docker Machine 0.5.1 (or higher) equipped with Docker Toolbox;
- Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac Pro or Business Edition.
Install Docker Toolbox.
Run Docker Quickstart Terminal
Wait for the default machine to be configured.
Install the Parallels driver according to the instructions here.
To create a Parallels Desktop virtual machine for Docker purposes, run this command:
docker-machine create --driver=parallels prl-dev
If you encounter an error message while creating a Docker virtual machine, please visit KB 123558.
That's it, the new machine is ready to work.
