Cannot update Parallels Access on Mac.

Symptoms

Parallels Access prompts an update every time I restart my Mac. I choose to update it, but the istallation finishes right after I enter my Mac user account password.

Therefore, the update is not getting installed and I cannot use Parallels Access.

Resolution

  1. Manually launch Parallels Access again. You can find the application in Finder > Applications > Parallels Access.
  2. Choose to install an update again when prompted.
  3. Enter your Mac user account password and proceed with installation.

This time the installation should finish correctly. If the problem is not resolved, please contact Parallels Technical Support.
