I installed the Parallels Access Agent in my virtual machine. When I connect to my virtual machine from the Parallels Access app some features do not work or do not work as expected.

Resolution

Parallels Access will not work properly if installed in a virtual machine. You need to reinstall the Parallels Access agent directly onto your hard drive. For Installation instructions please visit KB 116728

However, Parallels Access provides additional functionality for Parallels Desktop users that allows you to integrate applications installed in Parallels Desktop virtual machines, so that you can use them as if they are installed on your computer.

For example, you can add virtual machine applications to Parallels Access Launchpad or copy-paste between Mac and Windows applications. To learn how to use these features, please visit KB 116675
