AWStats may not collect data on Parallels Confixx EZ or VZ template based installations

Cause

Different awstats package versions are differently configured. Due to this Parallels Confixx cannot find awstats.pl correctly.

Resolution

Before upgrading Confixx installed from Virtuozzo template, please reconfigure AWStats the following way:
  1.    Find the location of the awstats.pl file on your installation
  2.    Open /root/confixx/httpdtraffik.sh
  3.    Check the AWSTATS_SCRIPT variable. It should contain the full path to the awstats.pl file obtained on step 1
  4.    If the value of the AWSTATS_SCRIPT variable doesn't contain a valid path to awstats.pl, please follow the next steps 
  5.    Run /root/confixx/admin/admin.pl and disable awstats
  6.    Reconfigure AWStats by switching it on again and provide the correct path to the awstats.pl script obtained in step 1 when prompted.
  7.    Configure the AWStats user's config files location to /etc/awstats when prompted.
  8.    Configure the awstats.template.conf location to /root/confixx/admin/subs/suse.awstats.template.conf for SuSE based installation or to /root/confixx/admin/subs/debian.awstats.template.conf for Debian based installation when prompted.
  9.    Run /root/confixx/confixx_counterscript.pl -fa to take apply the changes.
