I cannot access mailing lists archives at http://lists.domain.tld/pipermail/list_name/ getting "404 - Not found" error.

Resolution

Make sure that  the /var/lib/mailman/archives directory exists. If yes, create the following symlink:
ln -s /var/lib/mailman/archives /usr/lib/mailman/archives
