When I run 'psabackup' utility it seems to work fine but if I check the dump head I get only strange characters. If I try to restore the dump I get "Input file is not a valid MIME file: can not find MIME header." Error.

RESOLUTION


Mostly, the dump is done with compression ("-z" options). In this case you have to restore dump as  follows:

zcat ./dump | /usr/local/psa/bin/psarestore -f - -m map -s shell
