What is MacLook and how to use it?

Note: MacLook is not available in Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac.

The MacLook theme for your Windows virtual machine is a predefined set of icons, fonts, colors, and other elements that makes the Windows guest OS look like Mac OS X.

Note: This theme is available for Windows XP , Windows Vista and Windows 7 guest operating systems with up to date Parallels Tools installed. To be able to use this theme, you need to log in to Windows as an administrator.

Enabling the MacLook Theme

To enable MacLook for your virtual machine, do one of the following:

  • Choose Use MacLook from the View menu.

  • Download MacLook (download starts automatically).

Once the MacLook theme is enabled, it will be automatically applied to all view modes.
