Only in case the articles above did not help, please try the solution below. Note that this approach requires execution of commands in Terminal which should be done very attentively.

1. Start Terminal from /Applications/Utilities/Terminal and type the following command:

$ cd  /Users/Shared

Press Enter.

2. In Terminal, type the following command:

$ ls -la

Press Enter.

The output of the command will look similar to the following:

----------------------------------------------------
drwxrwxrwt    5 root     wheel   170 Aug 31 23:13 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     admin   306 Mar 30 17:38 ..
lrwxr-xr-x    1 admin  wheel    14 Aug 27 20:41 Parallels ->  /Volume/Macintosh_HD
drwxrwxrwt  105 root     wheel  3570 Aug 31 23:12 Parallels.old2
----------------------------------------------------

Please note that Macintosh_HD has custom name in this example and will be different in each particular case.

3. In Terminal, type the following command:

$ ls -la

Press Enter.

The output of the command will look similar to the following:

----------------------------------------------------
drwxrwxrwt    5 root     wheel   170 Aug 31 23:13 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     admin   306 Mar 30 17:38 ..
lrwxr-xr-x    1 admin  wheel    14 Aug 27 20:41 Parallels ->  /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels
drwxrwxrwt  105 root     wheel  3570 Aug 31 23:12 Parallels.old2
----------------------------------------------------

Please note that /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels has custom name in this example and will be different in each particular case.

4. In Terminal, type the command:

$ ls -ld /Volumes/Macintosh_HD

5. In Terminal, type the command:

$ ls -l  /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels

Press Enter.

If the output looks like the following string and ends with 'No such file or directory' :

$ ls -l  /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels: No such file or directory

This is a symlink (wrong one), please try to rename it. Rename symlink ONLY if the output looks like example above !

To rename symlink, type the following command in Terminal:

$ sudo mv /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels /Users/Shared/SyncLocation/Parallels/Users/Shared/Parallels_

Press Enter. Confirm operation if prompted.

6. Once symlink is renamed, type the following command in Terminal:

$ sudo launchctl start com.parallels.desktop.launchdaemon

Press Enter.

Dispatcher should recreate the folder in question and Parallels Desktop can be started after it.
