Symptoms

When I try to add database user for a MSSQL database in Parallels Panel I get the following error:

Add new database user failed: User does not have permission to perform this action.

Symptoms

The issue might be caused by unsynchronized 'sa' password which is used to register MSSQL server in Parallels Panel.

Resolution

Re-register MS SQL server in Parallels Panel with current 'sa' password. If 'sa' password is unknown refer to this KB article to reset it to a new one.
