Parallels

Symptoms

The sympthoms could be:
- national characters in OrderShop are shown wrong or corrupted at your Parallels Plesk Billing instance.

The issue could affect only bundled version of the software (comes together with Parallels Plesk Panel). Standalone and APS versions are not affected.

Resolution

In case of sympthoms above, please apply the hotfix attached:
1) download the attached hotfix to your Parallels Plesk Billing host
2) stop the web server to avoid any DB acccess while you are applying the hotfix:

/etc/init.d/sw-cp-server stop

3) run the attached hotfix script:

./plesk-billing-6.0.3-repair-locales.sh

4) start the web server

/etc/init.d/sw-cp-server start

5) check that now national symbols are shown correctly
