Symptoms
Sitebuilder site is configured for publishing to domain hosted on Parallels Plesk Panel Windows.When I attempt to publish the site or verify publishing location I received the following error message:
Error: FTP error: Cannot log in to the publishing server. The provided credentials are invalid.
Resolving - fine.
Tried FTP login - fine.
Was unable to login via FTP from inside and outside without problems.
What causes the problem?
Cause
Parallels Plesk Sitebuilder works with Publishing FTP server in passive mode. The problem is caused by the fact that FTP server on publishing host does not work in passive mode.This may be caused by IP Security Policies.
Resolution
Try disabling IP Security Policies, namely polity Packet Filter for test.After that if FTP server works correctly in passive mode and publishing works then you need to review and reconfigure IP Security Policies.
