Symptoms

error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (111)'

Check that mysqld is running and that the socket:

'/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!

Error occured while saving new password to MySQL database Can not open file /root/.my.cnf

Resolution

Please change 'confixx' Container Samples params:

1.       Open confixx Container Sample in Parallels Infrastructure Manager

2.       Click on 'Resources' bookmark

3.       Open 'Secondary System Parameters' item

a.       Set "privvmpages" values:

       soft limit = 100125

       hard limit = 104125

b.      Set oomguarpages = 45125

4.       Open 'Auxiliary System Parameters' item

a.  Set "dcachesize" values:

            soft limit = 1536

            hard limit = 2560

b.  Set numfile = 2560
