[FIX] Coldfusion sites asking for username and password.

Symptoms

A network authentication window pops up when I browse a site running through Coldfusion.

Cause

Most likely file system lacks some permissions that are needed for sites to function properly through Coldfusion.

Resolution

Make sure the following permissions are present on your file system:

 

- Read, Read&Execute, list folder contents for Network Service, psaadm, psacln, psaserv accounts  on C:\CFusionMX7 and its contents.

- Full Access for Network service and psaserv accounts on C:\CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\wsconfig\LogFiles and its contents.
