SYMPTOMS

On published side PHP 5.1.x installed.

In apache error log file (for example, /var/log/httpd/error_log) "Segmentation fault" errors exist:

[Mon Mar 31 22:00:29 2008] [notice] child pid 9527 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

CAUSE

Most probably this issue related to ionCube loader for PHP on published side.

RESOLUTION

Update ionCube to the latest available version which can be found here:

http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php

and instructions for update located here:

http://www.ioncube.com/loader_installation.php

Additional information

IonCube must be updated on published side. There is nothing to do on Sitebuilder side.
