[FIX] Plesk Control Panel shows "Recursion too deep" error

SYMPTOMS

Plesk CP sometimes return the following error:

Recursion too deep; the stack overflowed.

CAUSE

Probably Coldfusion is installed on the server and Coldfusion application mapping is added to the Plesk Control Panel on IIS and permissions for Coldfusion directory are not configured properly. During Coldfusion installation it adds application mappings to all websites. That is why it could affect Plesk CP.

RESOLUTION

There are 2 possible solutions:

1. Delete Coldfusion application mapping from the Plesk Control Panel. From the IIS, Web Sites, the properties of  PleskControlPanel webiste, Home Directory tab, open onfiguration and make sure that there are no wildcard application maps.

If it has maps, please remove them.

After that check how Plesk Control Panel works.

2. Check permissions on the Coldfusion directory.
