How to disable browser compatibility checking in Plesk Sitebuilder if I need to use different from supported browsers like lynx, for example, for internal purposes?

SYMPTOMS

Unfortunately, your browser is not supported by Sitebuilder.
Please use Internet Explorer 5.5 or later, or Mozilla.

CAUSE

Plesk Sitebuilder officially supports following browsers:
  • Internet Explorer 5.5 and above
  • Mozilla 1.4 and above
  • Firefox 1.0 and above

RESOLUTION

Set following parameter in <SB_ROOT>/config file:

[general]
............
allow_unsupported_browsers = on
............

Additional information

<SB_ROOT> - Sitebuilder installation directory /usr/local/sitebuilder/ or /opt/sitebuilder/ on Debian/Ubuntu.
