Parallels Desktop for Mac and Parallels Workstation for Windows and Linux are separate Parallels products that use similar virtualization technology and are being developed at the same time. But, as names imply, Parallels Desktop for Mac is intended for Intel Mac host systems and Worskstation for Windows and Linux runs on PC host systems.
