If you are a license owner you can update your product license through our online license update system. Additionally, Since Plesk 7.5 Reloaded and Plesk 8 for Windows versions Plesk comes with a built in license management. Upon upgrade it will attempt to retrieve your license update automatically. This is done through communication to our licensing server securely through port 5224. Ensure that communication over the Internet through this port is possible before attempting any upgrade without having the physical license. Should the initial process of upgrading the license fail you will still be able to enter Plesk Control Panel. It will lead you directly to License Manager where you will be able to select the Retrieve Keys option to attempt the update again. Plesk will provide a detailed message to explain any further actions you may need to take to acquire your license. Should problems persist contact support using our online support form.
