SYMPTOMS

My Plesk is installed in Virtuozzo Container. When I  activate new firewall rules for Plesk firewall, the following error occurs:

Error: Could not activate firewall configuration:

safeact: safeact: /usr/local/psa/var/modules/firewall/firewall-new.sh failed:
iptables: No chain/target/match by that name

proc_close() failed: var: Deprecated. Please use the public/private/protected modifiers

CAUSE

Such error occurs if some required for iptables module is not loaded on the node.

RESOLUTION

Follow the article  "How do I enable firewall in a CT?" to setup modules required for iptables firewall functioning.
