[FIX] Container does not start after migration

SYMPTOMS

Migration carried out with VZMC (or PMC) console was reported successful, however any try to start or configure the Container (CT) produces an error:

 

Error invoking external utility: ERROR: Error 0x1 while executing script 'on_vps_startup.cmd 207' Code 3802.

CAUSE

Most likely the issue is caused by the difference in OS version between the two Windows servers where Virtuozzo is installed. The source server OS is, for example, Windows 2003 Standard Edition, but the destination server is Windows 2003  Datacenter Edition.

 

Containers based on Standard/Enterprise Editions cannot be migrated to Datacenter Edition

RESOLUTION

Containers based on Standard Windows Edition can be migrated to Enterprise Windows Edition and vice versa.

Containers based on Standard/Enterprise Editions cannot be migrated to Datacenter Edition and vice versa.

Please see OS version compatibly for migration as well.
