1. Topic:

Updated packages for Virtuozzo 3.0.0 providing a user-level tools fix for
the Virtuozzo license auto-update functionality.

2. Problem description:

- During its execution, the Virtuozzo license key update tool (provided in the
vzkeytools-3.0.0-5 package) waits for user input without notifying the user
of this fact.

All Virtuozzo 3.0.0 users are advised to update their vzkeytools package.

3. Affected components description:

- vzkeytools is a set of tools used to periodically check the status of the
Virtuozzo license installed on the Hardware Node and to automatically update
the license before it expires.

#98831 - vzkeyupdate doesn't update license

This update can be downloaded via ftp from downloads.swsoft.com.
If you do not have an ftp account, please contact pavel@parallels.com.

You can also download and install this tools update using the
vzup2date utility included in the Virtuozzo 3.0.0 distribution.

6. Installation:

First, use the "rpm -Fhv" command to install the new Virtuozzo tools
packages.

# rpm -Fhv virtuozzo-release-3.0.0-160.swsoft.noarch.rpm \
vzkeytools-3.0.0-6.swsoft.noarch.rpm

The update does not require Virtuozzo restart or system reboot.

vzkeytools-3.0.0-6.swsoft.noarch.rpm
