[FIX] PHP FastCGI cannot be enabled on domain

Symptoms

PHP FastCGI fails to be enabled on Plesk domain. The following error is displayed:

Error: Unable to update hosting preferences: Unable to reconfigure Web server:
websrvmng failed: The process cannot access the file because it is being used
by another process. (Error code 32) at WritePrivateProfileSection(Types,
php5:20972=Plesk_php5, C:\WINDOWS\system32\inetsrv\fcgiext.ini)

Resolution

Please download the following file

http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Autoupdate/Windows/8.3.0/129849/websrvmng.exe

and place it to the %plesk_bin% folder

Note: Please see how to install Plesk hotfixes properly.

Additional information

%plesk_dir% is environment variable which points to Plesk installation folder. By default it is C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk

%plesk_bin% is environment variable which points to Plesk binaries folder. By default it is C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\bin
