Virtuozzo supports a wide range of antivirus software products.  In order to ensure flawless interaction with Virtuozzo for Windows, SWsoft regularly performs compatibility test, working closely with Antivirus vendors and issuing Virtuozzo software updates when necessary.

Please use this article as a reference point in determining the antivirus solution to use on your Virtuozzo for Windows systems. Prior using information from this article, please make sure your Virtuozzo servers are running on the latest patchlevel available.

Note! All antivirus solutions described below must be installed on the node only. Antivirus installed on the node protects all conatiners (VEs) automatically.

Symantec AntiVirus

Supported versions

• 10.1.5.5000 (If you install Symantec AntiVirus 10.2 to a computer that does not run Windows Vista, Symantec AntiVirus 10.1.5 is installed )

Known issues

Make sure the "VPC32.exe" string is added to the value of the following key:

Known issues

For AVG to work properly with Virtuozzo it is necessary to add the following values below under the registry key:
